Experience
Currently living in France. Available to tutor via Skype or other online platform of your choosing. Teaching Licensure for K-12 French Language. Obtained 2010. Four years teaching experience. Two years teaching English as a Foreign Language in Paris, France. Two years teaching French at a preparatory school in Connecticut. My student teaching and training for my teaching certificate (K-12) was completed in North Carolina, where I taught French. I have additionally tutored French and English with private clients for several years. I am familiar with a range of strategies to target the needs of my students. I have worked with adult professionals and adolescents. I am happy to provide support for school work and/or professional skills. I recently passed my GRE and completed it within the 95th percentile. I would be available to work with students interested in help with the Verbal section of the test. I have experience translating French-to-English for bilingual businesses. If translating services are needed, I could certainly be of help. I do not, however, have a formal license as translator. I am a native American English speaker and have native fluency in written and spoken French.

Teaching is my passion, and I have worked as a teacher of French, English as well as a Tennis coach for many years. I am young and energetic, and my priority is making students find confidence in themselves and pride in their successes. I love helping students discover their unique voices and find a path to self-expression. I work with people of all ages. I am highly adaptable to your individual needs, and have a progressive, communicative and culture-based approach. I can provide my own materials and resources if necessary.
